The National Shrine of Saint Philomena
Philomena has found a secondary home in the United States of America, in
the state of Wisconsin, in a village called Briggsville. Wisconsin is a
state that is farther north than some areas of Canada. Briggsville is a
village founded in 1854, a time when the American Indian tribes of
Menomonee and Winnebago inhabited the area. It is a tiny fishing resort
with a few hundred people, located in the Diocese of Madison.
