Saint Anne National Shrine

The National Shrine of St.Ann was established on May 18, 1926 at the St. Ann Church.

The shrine was transfered to a new parish in Metairie and dedicated July 24, 1977 There is a Grotto-like structure in the center of the shrine grounds for prayers and devotions.
